In conjunction with the development of new Close Reading lessons for the i-Ready product, we launched a close reading content marketing campaign to create leads among people interested in learning more about this topic. We collaborated with well-known education author, D. Ray Reutzel, to write a whitepaper and give a webinar on close reading, and used a variety of media (inline text ads in eNewsletters, emails, and tradeshow collateral) to drive our audience to these deliverables. A landing page allowed them to download the whitepaper once they submitted their contact information. Our sales team then followed up with these leads and were able to direct them to learn more about the new Close Reading lessons within i-Ready.
