Nor’east Frameworks is a very small frame shop that was in need of a professional identity overhaul. When they contacted me they had been using a logo that they had created in Word. Since their customers are usually of the upper middle class and higher, they wanted a logo that was of that caliber. They especially wanted something that would look exquisite as a stamp on the back of their framed pieces. After brainstorming a bit, we came up with a concept that drew from the look and feel of the stamps on porcelain china.
