This venture capital firm wanted a logo that was dynamic and could be made to illustrate that they invest in 3 areas: alternative and traditional energy, mobility, and sustainability. To accomplish this I made the logo look somewhat 3D and incorporated 3 spheres that stood for their areas of investment. The waves that offshoot from each sphere could be interpreted as the potential for growth in each area. They also wanted a semi corporate look and feel, so I kept the palette in traditional blues and reds.
