Segway had just come out with a device that would allow their retailers to reset the Segways they sold—so the customer would no longer have to ship it back to the manufacturer if they had issues, they could just take it back to where they bought it. However, they needed to teach their retailers how to do this. As a parent who has had to assemble countless gadgets using poorly designed directions, I felt this was my chance to give back with an easy-to-follow documentation guide. So I designed this guide that showed, step-by-step, how to re-program a Segway. I illustrated all of the images, layed out the booklet, and used my instructional design skills to the max.
